Anambra State Government today rewarded the six students of Regina Paecis that won the World Technovation Challenge held recently in San Francisco, USA with one million naira each.
Governor Willie Obiano at a reception held at the governor’s lodge, Amawbia, also presented cheques for two million naira each to the Principal of the school and the mentor of the Students.
The governor also announced scholarships for the students up till their first University degrees.
Present to witness the ceremony where the parents and teachers of the students, members of the National and State Assemblies, State government functionaries among many others.
Having earlier won at the National level, the School proceeded to the International level which brought together students from different parts of the world.

The young world champions who went with the name “Team Save A Soul” now attracting a worldwide attention in the world’s greatest technological hub defeated over 2000 competing applications to get to the finals in San Francisco, USA which they eventually won.
